Biography
Francis Spring Rice was born on 1 October 1852 in Lewisham, Kent, England, the son of Ellen Mary Spring Rice and Stephen Edmund Spring Rice.[1][2][3]
He was christened on 10 November 1852 at Saint Mary, Lewisham.[1]
He married Elizabeth Ann FitzGerald on 28 September 1882.[3] Their children were:[3]
- Francis Peter Spring Rice (1883–1883)
- Charles Spring Rice (1887–1946)
Elizabeth died in 1922.[3]
Francis remarried on 11 September 1935 at a registry office in London, to Julia Emma Isabella FitzGerald.[3][4]
Francis died on 22 December 1937 in Rathkeale, Ireland, aged 85.[3][5]
